The route in one line

RER A runs east–west under central Paris. Useful boarding points include Châtelet–Les Halles (RER A, B and D), Gare de Lyon (RER A and D, Transilien R, metro 1 and 14) and Nation, according to Bonjour RATP's Châtelet–Les Halles and Gare de Lyon station pages. The Disneyland Paris public-transport FAQ gives about 35 minutes from Nation; RATP's Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station page says about forty minutes from Paris. Allow a few more minutes from stations further west, such as Châtelet.

Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy is one of the RER A termini, so not every eastbound train goes there. Check the destination on the platform screen and on the train before you board.

At the other end, Disneyland Paris's travel page says the station is about 2 minutes' walk from Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World and Disney Village. A free shuttle bus links the station with all Disney Hotels except Disney's Davy Crockett Ranch, and with partner hotels.

Which ticket to buy and what it costs

Since January 2025 one Métro-Train-RER ticket covers any metro, RER or train journey in the region, whatever the distance. The Bonjour RATP ticket page says it is valid throughout Île-de-France excluding airport zones, on metro, RER and Transilien trains and tram lines T11 to T14, with connections allowed for 2 hours from validation. It is not valid on buses or most trams. The Île-de-France Mobilités 2026 fare page sets the price from 1 January 2026.

Traveller One way Return
Adult €2.55 €5.10
Child aged 4–9 €1.30 €2.60
Family: 2 adults + 2 children aged 4–9 €7.70 €15.40
Family: 2 adults + 2 children aged 10+ €10.20 €20.40

The reduced fare covers children aged 4 to under 10; from 10, children pay the adult fare (Bonjour RATP, checked 9 October 2026).

The ticket is loaded on a Navigo Easy card, sold at stations for €2, or stored directly on an iPhone or Android phone through the Bonjour RATP app. Load the return ticket at the same time so it is ready for the evening.

Arriving from the airports

If you land at Charles de Gaulle or Orly and are heading straight to the parks, going via central Paris is rarely the simplest option.

Option Adult fare Child Time Notes
Magical Shuttle coach from CDG or Orly €24 €11 under 12; free under 2 About 1 hour (operator estimate) Stops at Chessy bus station and the Disney Hotels
TGV from CDG 2 TGV station Varies by train Varies About 10 minutes SNCF ticket, not a Métro-Train-RER ticket
RER via central Paris €14 Paris Région <> Aéroports ticket €7 reduced Change of train in Paris The standard €2.55 ticket is not valid at airport stations

Prices for the Magical Shuttle from CDG and from Orly are per trip and were checked 9 October 2026; the operator estimates 1 hour, while Disneyland Paris's airport FAQ says about 45 minutes. Magical Shuttle announced new timetables from 12 October 2026, so check departures for your date. Its payment page says that from 19 October 2026 cash is no longer accepted on board; cash payers must then use the ticket offices at the airport information centres or opposite Disney Village. Wheelchair users must email Magical Shuttle 48 hours ahead to book an adapted coach.

The SNCF Connect station page says Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy is served year-round by TGV InOui and Ouigo trains and has a 10-minute link to Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV station. For the airport's own transport choices into the city, see CDG to central Paris and Orly to Paris.

Other ways from Paris

  • Disneyland Paris Express coach: a day-return coach from Paris run by Magic Ways. It must be bought together with a park ticket, at least 2 days ahead; it arrives around 9:45am, leaves at 9pm, is refundable up to 3 days before, and is not equipped for guests with reduced mobility. Disneyland Paris does not publish the price on its travel page.
  • Car: Disneyland Paris says the resort is about 45 km from central Paris by a toll-free motorway, with two paid car parks for day visitors.

When the plan fails

The RER A is the single point of failure. On strike or engineering-work days, check the line status in the Bonjour RATP or Île-de-France Mobilités app the evening before; see checking for Paris transport strikes for where to look. If the RER is down, the Disneyland Paris Express coach, booked at least 2 days ahead, is the main alternative from central Paris; otherwise you need a car.

Coming back late, Bonjour RATP lists Noctilien night buses N130 and N141 at the Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy stop. For a full day of other Paris travel, compare the day passes in which Navigo pass fits your stay.
