Prices for Pitti, Boboli and the combined tickets
Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens belong to the Uffizi Galleries, the same state museum as the Uffizi. Like the Uffizi, they charge less for tickets bought on the day of the visit than for tickets bought beforehand. The Pitti Palace page, Boboli page and fares page give these adult prices:
| Ticket | On the day | Booked ahead | Covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pitti Palace | €16 | €19 | All Pitti museums |
| Boboli Gardens | €10 | €13 | The gardens |
| Pitti + Boboli | €22 | €25 | Both, valid one day |
| Boboli + Bardini Gardens | €15 | Not sold | Ticket office only |
| PassePartout 5 Days | €40 | €40 | Uffizi, Pitti, Boboli |
The Pitti ticket covers the Palatine Gallery, the Gallery of Modern Art, the Museum of Costume and Fashion, the Treasury of the Grand Dukes, the Museum of Russian Icons and the Palatine Chapel. The Pitti and Boboli pages list a reduced ticket at €3. The Uffizi's free and reduced tickets page limits reductions to EU citizens aged 18–25 (plus a few other nationalities) and gives free entry to all under-18s with ID.
Which ticket to buy
- Pitti and Boboli on the same day: the €22 combined ticket saves €4 on two single tickets (€16 + €10). It is valid for one day only, says the combined ticket page.
- Gardens only, on a fine afternoon: €10 on the day. In winter, arrive well before the 15:30 last admission.
- Pitti, Boboli and the Uffizi in one trip: the PassePartout at €40 is valid for five consecutive days. Bought separately on the day, the Uffizi (€25) plus Pitti and Boboli (€22) cost €47. The Uffizi must be the first visit, at a booked time. Our Uffizi tickets guide explains that booking.
- Two gardens: the €15 Boboli + Bardini ticket gives one entry to each. The Bardini notice says it is not named, is sold only at Uffizi Galleries ticket offices on the day of use, and is not sold on days when Boboli is closed or entry is free. The reduced price is €4.
If you are also visiting several city museums, compare these with a city pass in our Firenze Card guide.
Royal Apartments
Guided visits to the Royal Apartments cost nothing extra on top of a Pitti ticket, according to the Royal Apartments page. Booking is required for every visitor, including children under six. Tours leave every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 17:00, Tuesday to Sunday, last about 30 minutes and take up to 20 people. You can book online, or at the ticket office for the same day only.

Opening hours and closed days
Palazzo Pitti is open Tuesday to Sunday, 08:15–18:30, and its ticket office closes an hour before the museum. It is closed on Mondays, 1 January and 25 December.
Boboli Gardens open at 08:15 every day except the first and last Monday of each month and 25 December. Closing time changes with the month, and last admission is always an hour before closing:
| Months | Closes | Last admission |
|---|---|---|
| November to February | 16:30 | 15:30 |
| March and October | 17:30 (standard time) or 18:30 (summer time) | 16:30 or 17:30 |
| April, May, September | 18:30 | 17:30 |
| June to August | 19:10 | 18:10 |
That makes Boboli the only one of the Uffizi Galleries' sites open on most Mondays. In the coming weeks, Boboli is closed on Mondays 2 and 30 November and 7 and 28 December 2026, and open on the other Mondays. Mondays are also when the Uffizi and the Accademia are closed, so a garden morning fits there.
Boboli has four entrances (and possible exits): Palazzo Pitti, Annalena on Via Romana, Porta Romana and the Forte di Belvedere gate. Ticket offices are at Pitti, Annalena, Porta Romana and Forte Belvedere, according to the Uffizi tickets page. The Bardini Gardens close at 16:00 (last entry 15:00) from 25 October 2026 to 28 February 2027.
Free first Sundays
Pitti and Boboli take part in the national free first Sunday. The free-entry page says there are no reservations or priority passes that day, except for disabled visitors, their companions and pregnant women. The next dates are 1 November and 6 December 2026, and 3 January 2027. The Boboli + Bardini ticket is not sold on free days.
Rooms closed at Pitti
The price stays the same when rooms are shut, so check before you go. The Pitti page and the closure notice list, as of 30 October 2026:
- the Room of the Iliad, closed for maintenance and refurbishment, with no end date;
- the Room of Mars, closed from Tuesday 27 October to Monday 2 November 2026;
- the Treasury of the Grand Dukes, temporarily closed, with its mezzanine visits stopped until further notice;
- the Music Room of the Palatine Gallery, closed, with restoration work under way in the gallery.
If the Treasury or a particular room is the reason for your visit, choose a day after it reopens.
