Ask the hotel a specific question
Give the hotel your arrival date, approximate time, number of bags, and whether any item is unusually large. Ask whether storage is available before check-in and whether a staff member will be there when you arrive. A room being unavailable does not necessarily answer the separate storage question.
Save the response with your booking. If the hotel cannot confirm storage, resolve an alternative before the travel day instead of assuming that another property will accept your bags.

A low price is less useful if collecting the bag means crossing the city twice. Put the storage location, first activity, and hotel on the same map.
Prepare a small day bag
Keep travel documents, valuables, medication, a charger, and anything needed before check-in with you. Photograph your receipt and the storage location. Check what happens if your plans change and you collect later than expected.
Plan the collection journey
Record the collection deadline as an appointment. Leave enough time to find the same entrance and move your bags onward. For families or travelers with limited mobility, a staffed option close to the hotel may reduce extra handling even when another location looks cheaper.
