What the €14 ticket covers, and the garden question

Many visitors only want the sculpture garden. On the museum's visit page, the only single-site price is standard admission at €14, and the Paris Region tourism board's listing describes the €14 ticket as covering the permanent collections, exhibitions and the sculpture garden, with no separate garden price. Plan on paying the full ticket even if the garden is all you came for.

From October to February, the garden's closing time follows sunset, and it can close in bad weather, while the Hôtel Biron and main courtyard stay open. On a short winter afternoon, go to the garden first.

Prices and combined tickets

Ticket Price (checked 24 October 2026)
Standard admission €14
Rodin + Musée d'Orsay €25
Rodin + Musée du Quai Branly €23
Rodin + Musée de l'Armée €26
Audio guide €6.50

The museum's page lists no reduced rate. Combined tickets save money only if you would pay full price at both places. The Rodin–Orsay ticket costs €25, against €14 at Rodin plus the separate Orsay price; check the Orsay side in our Musée d'Orsay ticket guide, which also covers who enters Orsay free.

Who gets in free

  • Under 18s: free, according to Paris Region's listing.
  • EU residents under 26: the museum's families page says admission is free for under-26s from the European Union; Paris Region lists young EU/EEA residents aged 18 to 25.
  • Everyone on the first Sunday from October to March: no advance booking required. In this season that means 1 November and 6 December 2026, and 3 January, 7 February and 7 March 2027.
  • Other groups, including arts students, teachers, job seekers and journalists, with valid proof shown at the entrance.

The pages checked do not say whether free-entry visitors must reserve a ticket on other days, so bring proof of age or residence and expect to show it at the desk.
