The one-hour cruises side by side
Each operator's own page, read on 12 October 2026:
| Operator | Adult | Child | Departs from | Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vedettes du Pont Neuf | €15 online | €7 online | 1 Square du Vert-Galant, 75001 | 1 h |
| Bateaux-Mouches | €17 online, €20 standard | €8 online, €10 standard (under 13); under 4 free | Port de la Conférence, Pont de l'Alma, 75008 | 1 h |
| Bateaux Parisiens | €18 online (12 and over) | €9 online (4–11) | Eiffel Tower, Port de la Bourdonnais, 75007 | 1 h |
All three are one-hour commented cruises through central Paris. The differences that change your choice are the pier, the price for your group and how the commentary works.
Vedettes du Pont Neuf
The Vedettes du Pont Neuf cruise page lists a one-hour guided cruise at €15 for adults and €7 for children, shown against crossed-out prices of €17 and €9 under a "-€2 web promo" label. The page does not give the age limit for the child rate. A live guide speaks in French and English, and a free app gives commentary in six languages. Departure times are on the operator's schedule page, not on the cruise page.
Bateaux-Mouches
The Bateaux-Mouches tour page and ticket page list €20 for adults and €10 for children under 13, discounted to €17 and €8 when bought on the official website; children under 4 are free. Tickets are valid for any departure on the chosen day, and the FAQ says tickets are valid for one year and the tour lasts one hour without stops.
Published frequency:
- October to March: about every 45 minutes from 10:00 to 16:00, then every 30 minutes from 16:00 to 21:30
- April to October: about every 30 minutes from 10:00 to 22:00
The pier is at Port de la Conférence, Pont de l'Alma, right bank, 75008. The access page lists metro Alma-Marceau (line 9) and Franklin D. Roosevelt (line 1), and RER C at Pont de l'Alma.
Bateaux Parisiens
The commented cruise page lists a web price of €18 for adults (12 and over) and €9 for children aged 4 to 11, against crossed-out prices of €20 and €10, for a one-hour cruise starting at the Eiffel Tower with an audio guide. The page does not say whether under-4s ride free. The practical information page gives the address Port de la Bourdonnais, 75007, near Bir-Hakeim (metro 6), Trocadéro (metro 9) and RER C Champ de Mars–Tour Eiffel.
Batobus: the river as hop-on transport
The Batobus calls itself the city's only hop-on, hop-off river service. It stops at Tour Eiffel, Invalides, Musée d'Orsay, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Notre Dame, Jardin des Plantes, Hôtel de Ville, Louvre and Place de la Concorde.
| Pass | Adult | Child, 4–11 |
|---|---|---|
| 24 hours | €23 | €13 |
| 48 hours, consecutive | €27 | €17 |
| Annual | €73 | €48 |
The passes page says a 24-hour pass is valid for 24 hours after your first ride; for both passes the countdown starts at first use and runs during Batobus opening hours. Passes are sold online at any time and at the stop ticket offices.
The general information page gives first and last departures from the Tour Eiffel stop:
- 1 October to 1 November 2026: daily 10:00 to 19:00
- 2 November 2026 to 31 March 2027: Monday to Thursday 10:00 to 17:00; Friday to Sunday 10:00 to 19:00
It adds that these hours may change. The site does not publish a frequency or a full-loop time, and it posts notices when events along the Seine disrupt access to some stops.
What a group pays
Using the online prices above:
| Group | Vedettes du Pont Neuf | Bateaux-Mouches | Bateaux Parisiens | Batobus 24 h |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Two adults | €30 | €34 | €36 | €46 |
| Two adults, children 8 and 12 | €44* | €50 | €63 | €82 |
*Assumes both children qualify for the Vedettes child rate, whose age limit the operator does not publish. At Bateaux Parisiens and the Batobus, a 12-year-old pays the adult price; at Bateaux-Mouches, under-13s pay the child price.
If you are combining a cruise with the tower, our guide to Eiffel Tower tickets covers its fixed time slots. For a Batobus museum day, see Musée d'Orsay tickets, Louvre tickets and Notre-Dame entry and reservations.
