Skytree ticket prices by age and day
Tokyo Skytree sells two floors: the Tembo Deck at 350 m and, higher up, the Tembo Galleria at 450 m. The combo ticket covers both. The official ticket page lists these regular prices in yen (checked 12 October 2026):
| Ticket | Age 18+ | Age 12–17 | Age 6–11 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combo 350 + 450, weekday | ¥3,100 | ¥2,350 | ¥1,450 |
| Combo 350 + 450, weekend/holiday | ¥3,400 | ¥2,550 | ¥1,550 |
| Tembo Deck 350, weekday | ¥2,100 | ¥1,550 | ¥950 |
| Tembo Deck 350, weekend/holiday | ¥2,300 | ¥1,650 | ¥1,000 |
| Tembo Galleria 450, weekday | ¥1,000 | ¥800 | ¥500 |
| Tembo Galleria 450, weekend/holiday | ¥1,100 | ¥900 | ¥550 |
Children aged 5 and under are free. Visitors with a disability ID card pay a disability rate of roughly half, for example ¥1,050 for a weekday adult Tembo Deck ticket.
The Galleria price is exactly the gap between the Deck ticket and the combo for every age and day type, so treat the 450 m floor as a ¥1,000–1,100 upgrade for an adult. The page does not say how to buy the Galleria ticket on its own, so plan on the combo if you want both floors.
Which days count as "holidays"
The ticket page uses a pricing calendar with two colours: "weekends/holidays" and "weekdays". It does not list the dates in text, so open the calendar on the ticket page for your date before you assume the cheaper rate. Expect Saturdays, Sundays and Japanese public holidays to be in the higher band, and confirm any holiday-season date in the calendar.
Advance date-and-time ticket or same-day ticket
The individual ticket page splits tickets into advance (date-and-time) and same-day, and advertises savings of up to ¥400 for booking ahead (checked 12 October 2026). For a weekday adult it shows:
| Ticket | Advance | Same-day |
|---|---|---|
| Tembo Deck | from ¥2,100 | from ¥2,400 |
| Combo (Deck + Galleria) | from ¥3,100 | from ¥3,500 |
Advance tickets can be booked from 30 days before your visit until 23:59 the night before. The ticket page names two channels: the TOKYO SKYTREE Web Ticket site and the multi-function copiers in Seven-Eleven stores in Japan.
The English pages checked publish same-day prices only for a weekday adult, marked "from". They do not show same-day rates for children or for weekends and holidays, so compare the advance price with what the counter charges on the day.
The same page also sells "Special Experience Tickets" that bundle Skytree entry with other attractions, including teamLab Planets TOKYO, and the ticket page offers group rates for advance bookings of 10 or more people. If teamLab is also on your list, read our guide to teamLab Planets and Borderless tickets before choosing between a bundle and separate tickets.
What a visit costs: three example parties
All totals use the advance prices above (checked 12 October 2026).
- Couple, combo, weekday: ¥6,200. The same pair buying on the day pays from ¥7,000, so booking the night before saves ¥800.
- Couple, Tembo Deck only, weekday: ¥4,200 in advance against ¥4,800 or more on the day.
- Family of two adults, a 14-year-old and an 8-year-old, combo: ¥10,000 on a weekday and ¥10,900 on a weekend or holiday. With the Tembo Deck only it is ¥6,700 on a weekday and ¥7,250 on a weekend or holiday. A child of 5 or under adds nothing.
Moving that family from a Saturday to a Friday saves ¥900 on combo tickets. Dropping the Galleria saves ¥3,300 on a weekday, which is the bigger lever if your budget is tight.
Opening hours and last entry
The official pages disagree on closing time. The ticket page gives 10:00–21:00 with last admission at 20:00, open 365 days a year with changes at times such as New Year. The FAQ gives 10:00–22:00 with last admission at 21:00 (both checked 12 October 2026).
Until the two match, plan to arrive by 20:00 and check the hours shown when you choose your time slot. Tickets are valid for one entry only, so you cannot go down for dinner and return on the same ticket.
The Skytree pages checked do not publish a rule for refunds or exchanges on days of low cloud or poor visibility. Because advance tickets are for a fixed date and time, check the forecast before booking rather than weeks ahead.
The ticket pages checked do not list a separate fast-track ticket, so the prices above are the ones to plan with.
How to get to Tokyo Skytree
The access page names Tokyo Skytree Station (Tobu Skytree Line) and Oshiage Station (Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line) as the most convenient stations, with Asakusa and Kinshicho also nearby (checked 12 October 2026). Typical times it gives:
- From Asakusa: one stop on the Tobu Skytree Line, about 2 minutes, or about 15 minutes on foot
- From Ueno: Ginza Line to Asakusa, then the Tobu Skytree Line, about 14 minutes in total
- From Tokyo Station: JR Sobu Rapid Line to Kinshicho, then the Hanzomon Line to Oshiage, about 16 minutes
- From Haneda Airport: Keikyu Line or Toei Asakusa Line to Oshiage, about 42 minutes
- From Narita Airport: Keisei Narita Airport Line or Narita Sky Access to Oshiage, about 49 minutes
The page also lists a Skytree Shuttle bus from Tokyo Station, the Ueno–Asakusa area, Haneda Airport and Tokyo Disney Resort. All of these rail routes accept IC cards; our guide to Suica, PASMO and foreign contactless cards explains which to use. If you are heading to the tower on arrival day, compare the options in Narita and Haneda to central Tokyo first.
On site, the FAQ places information counters on Tower Yard 3F and East Yard 1F.
