Ticket prices
The Fundació's visiting page gives these rates:
| Ticket | Online | At the desk |
|---|---|---|
| General admission | €17 | €18 |
| Concession | €11 | €12 |
| Children under 12 | Free | Free |
The concession covers students aged 13 to 25, visitors over 65 and holders of Barcelona's Libraries Card. The page also lists a €12 reduced rate for students, over-65s, Carnet Jove holders (ages 12 to 30), single-parent and large families, and companions of visitors with disabilities. Bring proof of whichever category you claim.
Free entry applies to children under 12 with an adult, unemployed visitors, ICOM and CIMAM members, and Friends and Benefactors of the Fundació, among other professional and partner groups, all with proof. Visitors with a disability card enter free; their companions pay the reduced rate, or enter free depending on how much assistance the visitor needs.
The Fundació recommends buying online in advance and keeping the ticket on your phone. The page does not mention timed entry slots, and online is €1 cheaper per ticket.
Opening hours and the Monday rule
The Fundació runs two seasonal timetables:
| Season | Tuesday–Saturday | Sunday | Monday |
|---|---|---|---|
| Summer, 1 April – 31 October | 10:00–20:00 | 10:00–19:00 | Closed |
| Winter, 1 November – 31 March | 10:00–19:00 | 10:00–19:00 | Closed |
Access to the exhibition rooms ends 30 minutes before closing, so the last useful arrival in winter is 18:30.
Mondays are closed, with listed exceptions. Of the 2026 exceptions, only Monday 28 December is still ahead as of 24 October. The page does not list closures for 25 December or 1 January, so check before planning a holiday visit.

Getting to the Fundació on Montjuïc

- Buses 55 and 150, which the Fundació lists as the Parc de Montjuïc bus.
- Bicing stations 522 and 526, or walking.
For which metro and bus tickets to buy, see our T-casual and fare zones guide.
Lockers and bag rules
Backpacks and bags larger than 30 × 30 cm, umbrellas, motorcycle helmets, food and drink must go in a locker. Lockers take a €1 coin, which you get back when you collect your things, so carry a euro coin. For objects too large for a locker, contact the visitor service.
