Ticket prices by time of day

The SkyWalk page sells one ticket, priced by the time you enter. It covers the indoor observatory (74th floor) and the outdoor rooftop deck (78th floor).

Ticket 10am–3.30pm 3.30pm–7pm
Adult THB 1,000 THB 1,200
Child or senior over 60 THB 500 THB 600

Prices checked 29 October 2026. No separate Thai-resident price was listed. For two adults, the afternoon slot costs THB 400 more than a midday one (THB 2,400 v THB 2,000), so the late-afternoon view is the expensive one.

The child age range differs between language versions. The English page gives children's prices for ages 8–12; the Thai page says 3–12. Neither page says whether younger children go free. If you are travelling with a child under 8, check the category at checkout or ask at the lobby ticket counter.

Tickets are sold online and at the ticket counter in the lobby, according to the location page. The terms say tickets are valid only for the date and entry time shown, cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred, and do not allow re-entry. Prices can change without notice.

Opening hours: what each official page says

King Power Mahanakhon's own pages give three different answers, all checked on 29 October 2026:

  • SkyWalk page and Plan Your Visit page: daily 10am to midnight, last access 11pm.
  • The venue's online shop page: daily 10am to midnight, last admission 11.30pm.
  • Mahanakhon Tower page: "Open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM (last admission to SkyWalk at 6.30 PM)", with the Sky Beach rooftop bar open 10am to midnight, last access 11pm.

The published SkyWalk prices stop at 7pm, which fits the tower page's 6.30pm last admission. What happens after 7pm (whether the SkyWalk ticket is still sold, or access is through the rooftop bar) is not stated anywhere.

The terms add that hours can change without notice and may be cut temporarily for capacity or weather.

Glass tray rules

The glass tray is a 63 square metre glass floor on the 78th floor, 310 metres above the ground. The Plan Your Visit page sets three rules:

  1. Cover your shoes with the disposable shoe covers provided.
  2. Keep all loose items, including mobile phones, away from the glass.
  3. Photos of you on the tray can only be taken from the official photo-taking area.

The terms also mention restrictions on loose items on the glass tray and on the use of cameras and mobile devices, without spelling them out. Plan on keeping your phone off the glass while you are on it.

The tower page warns that outdoor experiences, including the glass tray and I-Tilt, may close because of the weather. On a stormy afternoon you may get only the indoor 74th-floor deck.

Bags and what is refused

The venue's shop information page lists restricted items: bags, backpacks and luggage ("any item including handles and wheels or any item that is not a carry on item is not permitted"), drones, pets, alcohol, food and drink, weapons, camera tripods of any size, parachutes, balloons, and flowers or bouquets. The terms add that everyone is screened, outside food and drink are not allowed, and visitors who appear drunk are refused without a refund.

No official page mentions lockers or a bag drop. If you are carrying luggage on a travel day, leave it elsewhere first; our guide to luggage storage in Bangkok covers the options.

BTS Skytrain

Getting there: BTS Chong Nonsi Exit 3

The tower is at 114 Narathiwas Ratchanakarin Road, Silom, Bang Rak. The location page recommends:

  • BTS Skytrain: Chong Nonsi station on the Silom Line, Exit 3. The location page calls the tower "just steps" from the station, and the tower page describes direct access from Exit 3.
  • BRT: Sathorn station.
  • Bus: routes 15, 16, 34, 77, 162 and 187.
  • Taxi: the site offers a Thai-language direction card to show the driver.
  • Car: limited parking at Mahanakhon CUBE; the first 30 minutes are free for visitors to the CUBE outlets.

Paying for the BTS with a contactless card, Rabbit card or QR code is covered in Bangkok BTS and MRT. For a taxi or ride-hailing trip instead, see taxis, Grab and tuk-tuks.

Other attractions in the tower

The experience page lists these alongside the SkyWalk, each with its own ticket link:

  • I-Tilt (75th floor): a tilting platform that leans out 296 metres up. It requires a SkyWalk ticket, riders must be 120–200cm tall and up to 120kg, and last admission is 6.30pm. The I-Tilt page shows two prices, THB 450 and THB 200 per ride, so confirm when you book.
  • SkyVerse (4th floor): an immersive digital-art space, 10am–9pm, last entry 8.30pm.

The tower page mentions bundle packages combining these attractions, but no bundle prices were published on the pages checked.

How long to allow and a fallback

The venue does not publish a suggested visit length. Booking a slot well before the 6.30pm last admission on the tower page leaves margin for screening and both decks. If the glass tray is closed for the weather, the weather warning on the tower page covers only outdoor experiences; the 74th-floor deck is indoors and, according to the SkyWalk page, gives 360-degree views. Because tickets cannot be refunded, check the forecast before you pay.
