Dates and how many shows there are

MSG Entertainment, which owns Radio City Music Hall, says the 2026 production runs 4 November 2026 to 4 January 2027 with 230 performances, the most since the show began in 1933. This season adds a new Rockettes number, for ten in total, according to the Rockettes' announcement.

Showtimes are only on the Times and Prices calendar. The official pages we read did not list showtimes, sold-out dates or whether there are performances on Christmas Day or New Year's Day, so pick your date in the calendar itself.

What tickets cost and where to buy

The only price MSG Entertainment publishes is the lowest one: $50 at the box office, or $55 online including $5 in service charges. The calendar page confirms that internet orders carry service charges and that tickets bought at the Radio City or Madison Square Garden box offices do not. Seat prices above that level are shown only when you choose a performance.

The Christmas Spectacular FAQ puts the box office inside the main entrance on 6th Avenue at the corner of 50th Street. The venue is cashless, but a reverse ATM turns cash into a debit card. Hours are "subject to change".

Rules to know before you buy

On the day: arrival, bags and late seating

From the plan your visit page and the FAQ:

  1. Arrive early. Doors open one hour before showtime. The venue recommends arriving at least an hour early and says arriving later than 30 minutes before the start risks missing the beginning.
  2. Bring a small bag only. Bags need not be clear but must fit under your seat, and anything larger than 22 x 14 x 9 inches is not allowed. Every bag is screened.
  3. Wear your coat in. Radio City has no coat or bag check; only strollers are checked.
  4. Expect to wait if you are late. Latecomers are seated at breaks between scenes, and there is no entry during certain scenes.

The banned list includes outside food and drink, selfie sticks and tripods, professional cameras with zoom lenses, signs and noisemakers. Photos and video are not allowed during the performance.

Getting there and combining it with the tree

Radio City is at 1260 Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue), between 50th and 51st Streets. The Rockettes' page suggests the 1 train to 50 St and a two-block walk east. Rockefeller Center's FAQ adds the B, D, F and M to 47–50 Sts–Rockefeller Center, which is closer.

The Christmas tree is a short walk east, in Rockefeller Plaza between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Our Rockefeller Center tree guide covers when it is lit and which tickets give close access. If Broadway is your other option for the evening, compare prices with our TKTS discount booth guide before you commit.
