Prices side by side
The Visit Us page and the exhibition page give these adult prices. On-site prices are in brackets.
| Adult ticket | Weekday | Weekend and holiday |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyo City View only | ¥2,200 (¥2,400) | ¥2,200 (¥2,400) |
| Mori Art Museum only | ¥2,600 (¥2,800) | ¥2,800 (¥3,000) |
| Both, bought separately | ¥4,800 (¥5,200) | ¥5,000 (¥5,400) |
The City View prices are the regular ones: the Visit Us page lists them for admissions up to 26 October, and the deck's October–November notice uses them as the regular price. Prices during the Le Petit Prince exhibition from 13 November were not on the pages read.
Other groups pay less:
- Students (high school and university): City View ¥1,600 online; museum ¥1,600 weekday or ¥1,700 weekend online.
- Seniors (65 and over): City View ¥1,900 online; museum ¥2,200 weekday or ¥2,400 weekend online.
- Children: the museum is free for junior high age and under. City View charges ¥1,000 online for ages 4 to junior high. Under-4s are free.
At Tokyo City View, visitors with a Japanese disability certificate (or equivalent government ID) and one companion are admitted free at the third-floor counter without booking. The pages read do not give the museum's policy for this exhibition.
Which ticket to buy
- View only: buy the City View ticket online. The regular price is the same every day.
- Art and view on the same day: once the combo goes on sale on 31 October, compare its price with ¥4,800 (weekday) or ¥5,000 (weekend) for two separate online tickets, and check that it is valid on your date.
- Art only: visit on a weekday, when the museum is ¥200 cheaper.
- Child with you: the child's museum entry is free, so only a child City View ticket (¥1,000 online) is needed for the deck.
The Visit Us page says tickets cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded after purchase.
Dates that change the plan
Late October to mid-November 2026 has several exceptions. The deck's operations notice for October and November 2026 and the museum's pages list them:
| Dates (2026) | What happens |
|---|---|
| 27 October | City View closed |
| 28–30 October | City View reduced prices; central Mt. Fuji-facing area restricted; museum still closed |
| 31 October | Museum reopens; open until 6:00 the next morning for Roppongi Art Night |
| 4–9 November | City View reduced prices; central Mt. Fuji-facing area restricted |
| 10–12 November | City View closed |
In the reduced periods City View charges adults ¥1,800 online (¥2,000 on site). If the full view toward Mt. Fuji matters, avoid 28–30 October and 4–9 November.
The museum also changes its hours on a few days: open until 18:00 on Tuesday 3 November, closing at 17:00 on Friday 27 November, and open until 22:00 on Tuesday 23 February 2027. Holiday prices apply on 30 and 31 December.

Opening hours and last entry
Tokyo City View opens 10:00–22:00, last entry 21:30. The Mori Art Museum keeps the same hours except on Tuesdays, when it closes at 17:00 with last entry at 16:30. The museum also closes while exhibitions change over, as it has from 24 September to 30 October 2026, so check the dates before planning a visit around a changeover.
For evening views, any day but Tuesday works for both venues. On a Tuesday, see the museum first and go up to the deck afterwards.
Booking and getting in
Advance tickets for a set date and time are sold online, on the official booking site or through other online sellers. The third-floor counter, "Museum & Observatory Tickets / Information", sells same-day tickets at the higher on-site price while time slots are not full. Inside the exhibition, entry slots for the Wave UFO pod are limited, so book a slot early if it is the reason for your visit.
Enter through the Museum Cone on the second floor, go up to the third-floor counter, take the lift to 52F for City View, then the escalator to 53F for the museum.
