Ticket types and prices
Tokyo Disney Resort is run by Oriental Land Co., and its Park Tickets page lists four ticket types. Prices change by date. The figures below are the page's "lowest amount for an admission date during the eligible period", not what you will pay on a given day (checked 12 October 2026):
| Ticket | Valid from | Adult 18+ | Junior 12–17 | Child 4–11 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Day Passport | Park opening | from ¥8,900 | from ¥7,400 | from ¥5,300 |
| After 3 Passport | 3 p.m., weekends and holidays | from ¥7,900 | from ¥6,600 | from ¥4,400 |
| After 5 Passport | 5 p.m., weekdays except holidays | from ¥6,000 | from ¥5,200 | from ¥3,800 |
| 1-Day Passport for Guests with Disabilities | Park opening | from ¥7,100 | from ¥5,900 | from ¥4,200 |
Children aged 3 and under are admitted free. The disability ticket is for holders of an applicable disability certificate and the person with them, and each person entering needs their own ticket.
The older names "Early Evening Passport" and "Weeknight Passport" no longer appear on the official page. Look for After 3 and After 5 instead.
What a 1-Day Passport actually costs
The price calendar shows only the adult 1-Day Passport price for each date. On the December 2026 calendar for Tokyo DisneySea, which showed the same amounts as the site's default December calendar for the other park, the pattern was:
- ¥10,900 on Monday to Friday, except the dates below
- ¥11,900 on Sundays, 24 December and 28–31 December
- ¥12,400 on Saturdays and on 25 December (a Friday)
The October 2026 calendar on the main page followed the same weekday, Sunday and Saturday pattern. So on those dates, picking a weekday instead of a Saturday saves ¥1,500 per adult. The March 2027 calendar did not show prices yet when checked, so check again before you plan a spring visit.
The page does not show junior or child prices by date. For dates that are not yet on sale, it tells you to choose an on-sale date with the same adult price to see the other ticket prices. In the examples below, junior and child tickets use the "from" prices, so read those totals as minimums.
When tickets go on sale
The official rule is "Tickets will be sold daily from 2:00 p.m. for admissions on the same date two months later". If the matching date does not exist in the month you are buying in, sales open at 2:00 p.m. on the first day of the next month. For a visit on 31 August, for example, there is no 31 June, so sales open on 1 July.
Each ticket type has a daily sales limit, and sales stop without notice when it is reached. Sold-out tickets can come back on sale without notice too. For Saturdays, holidays and late December, buy as soon as your date opens. If it sells out, check the calendar again rather than buying from an unofficial seller: the official site links to its own page on measures against unauthorised resale.
One date, one park: what you can change
The 1-Day Passport lets you into one named park from opening time on one named date. The ticket change page sets these rules (checked 12 October 2026):
- Free to change: the date of admission and the age category, while the ticket is valid. You cannot move to a date that is sold out.
- Cannot be changed: the park, the ticket type and the expiry date.
- Price difference: you are charged the full price of the new ticket and refunded the full price of the old one, so moving to a cheaper date costs you less.
- Online changes work only for tickets bought on the official website. Change the date and the age category one at a time.
- No refunds for personal reasons.
Because the park is fixed, choose the park before you buy. If you leave the park and want to come back the same day, tell a cast member on the way out and keep your ticket.
Disney Premier Access: the paid queue skip
Disney Premier Access lets you book a set time to ride selected attractions with a shorter wait, or to watch selected shows from a reserved viewing area. It is charged per person, on top of the park ticket. The official Premier Access page listed these prices on 12 October 2026:
| Park | Attractions | Shows and parades |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyo Disneyland | ¥1,000–¥2,500 (Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast ¥2,500) | ¥2,500; ¥3,500 for the Halloween and Christmas shows |
| Tokyo DisneySea | ¥1,500–¥2,500 (Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey and Soaring ¥2,500) | ¥2,500 |
Some items run only for a set period. Haunted Mansion is listed from 15 September 2026 to 7 January 2027, and Indiana Jones Adventure from 30 November 2026.
The rules shape how many you can buy in a day:
- One park ticket allows one Premier Access at a time. You can buy the next one 60 minutes after your last purchase or after its admission time, whichever comes first.
- Buy it in the app with a credit, debit or prepaid card, or at the counters the page lists in each park, such as Main Street House in Tokyo Disneyland and Guest Relations in Tokyo DisneySea.
- No changes, cancellations or refunds after purchase, except when a parade or show is cancelled. Buyers under 18 need a guardian's consent in the app.
- It can sell out, and it may not be offered on some days or at some times.
Getting to Maihama
The official train directions put Maihama Station on the JR Keiyo and Musashino lines, about 20 minutes from Tokyo Station with no change, of which about 15 minutes is on the JR Keiyo or Musashino Line. From the airports, the same page estimates about 50 minutes from Haneda with two changes and about 80 minutes from Narita with one. These times do not include time spent changing trains.
- Tokyo Disneyland: about a five-minute walk from JR Maihama Station.
- Tokyo DisneySea: walk about two minutes to Resort Gateway Station, then take the Disney Resort Line for about nine minutes to Tokyo DisneySea Station.
The Disney Resort Line is a monorail that loops around four stations in about 13 minutes, running from 6:03 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. A single ride costs ¥300 for ages 12 and over and ¥150 for ages 11 and under. Tickets and Day Passes are sold at machines in each station, and the ticket centre at Resort Gateway Station accepts credit cards. The page does not say whether Suica or PASMO can be used, so check at the station. Our guide to Suica, PASMO and paying with a foreign card covers the JR part of the trip.
If you are heading to the parks on your arrival day, compare times with the Narita and Haneda to central Tokyo guide first.
Example: a family of four on one day
Two adults, a 14-year-old (junior) and an 8-year-old (child) at Tokyo DisneySea. Prices are from the official pages checked on 12 October 2026, and junior and child tickets use the lowest listed prices:
| Cost | Saturday in December | Weekday in December |
|---|---|---|
| 2 adult 1-Day Passports | ¥24,800 | ¥21,800 |
| Junior + child 1-Day Passports | from ¥12,700 | from ¥12,700 |
| Disney Resort Line, return (3 × ¥300, 1 × ¥150, each way) | ¥2,100 | ¥2,100 |
| Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey Premier Access × 4 | ¥10,000 | ¥10,000 |
| Total | from ¥49,600 | from ¥46,600 |
The JR fare to Maihama is not included. At Tokyo Disneyland, the Resort Line costs drop out because the park is a walk from the station.
Which ticket and which park to choose
- A full day with children: a 1-Day Passport on a weekday. On the October and December 2026 calendars, that was ¥1,500 cheaper per adult than a Saturday.
- Arriving in Tokyo the same day, or after a morning elsewhere: After 5 on a weekday (adult from ¥6,000) or After 3 on a weekend or holiday (adult from ¥7,900). Either is worth it only if the evening shows and a few rides are enough for you.
- Tokyo Disneyland: the shorter trip from Maihama, with no monorail fare. Its Premier Access attractions start at ¥1,000.
- Tokyo DisneySea: add the Resort Line fare. Its Premier Access attractions run from ¥1,500 to ¥2,500, so a day with several of them costs more.
- Two parks: buy two tickets for two dates. One ticket cannot be switched to the other park.
